Very sad to hear that Jóhann Jóhannsson has left us. I was introduced to his music on a trip to Iceland in 2007 and it has been a continual source of inspiration for me as a composer ever since. It's unapologetically beautiful and does what music does best: expresses feelings that are beyond words.
