The printer told me that
His daughter got married
Two months ago out in
Julian and he told me all
About the snow covering
The ground surrounding
The chapel and how there
Was not too much or too
Little but a perfect pillow
So that the light bounced
Up off of it and up on to
Her beautiful gown and
Dampened every sound
Making delicacy of each
Moment in a wonderful
Dream and as he said
All of this the room was
So silent and both of his
Eyes were full of light as
They looked at a stranger
Who had come to ask him
About printing a wedding
Invitation for a bride that
Someone talks about any
Chance that they get with
Their eyes all full of light
Never realizing the poems
They are writing in the air
Between their eyes and the
Eyes across from them that
Start without light in them
But finish full of soft white
Reflections and crisp quiet
